Spatial Apex (“Spatial Apex,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a spatial computing agency, education studio, and publisher based in Orlando, Florida. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit spatialapex.co (the “Site”), contact us, or purchase our products, and how we use and share it. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit our contact form, request a Spatial Snapshot, or email us, we collect the details you choose to provide — typically your name, email address, organization, the service you’re interested in, and the contents of your message. If you send us a model, product, or space to work with, we also receive whatever files or materials you share.

Purchase information. When you buy our book or other products, payment is handled by third-party processors and fulfillment partners (see below). We may receive order details such as your name, email, and the items purchased, but we do not collect or store your full payment card numbers.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our Site and hosting provider may automatically log basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, and the pages you view. If we use privacy-conscious analytics, this data is used in aggregate to understand how the Site is used.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your inquiries and deliver the services you request, including a free Spatial Snapshot;
• Fulfill and support orders you place;
• Communicate with you about your project, order, or a question you raised;
• Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our offerings;
• Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers we rely on

We share information only with the vendors that help us operate, and only as needed to do so. These may include:

• Website hosting and form handling — our host processes Site traffic and contact-form submissions on our behalf.
• Commerce and payments — our store and checkout are powered by third-party platforms (for example, Shopify) that process payments under their own privacy and security terms.
• Print and retail fulfillment — physical books may be produced and shipped by print-on-demand and retail partners (for example, Lulu and Amazon), each of which handles order data under its own policies.
• Email — we use standard email services to correspond with you.

Each of these providers maintains its own privacy policy governing the data it handles. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of Spatial Apex or others.

Cookies and analytics

The Site may use cookies or similar technologies to remember preferences and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some features. If we use analytics, we aim to configure it to respect your privacy and to avoid collecting more than we need.

Data retention

We keep the information you provide for as long as needed to respond to you, deliver and support our services, meet our legal and accounting obligations, and maintain reasonable business records. When it is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or de-identify it.

Your choices and rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing us at the address below. You can opt out of non-essential emails at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws; we will honor valid requests to the extent required by law.

Children’s privacy

Spatial Apex’s Site and commercial services are directed to businesses and professionals, not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it. (Youth education programs are run separately through our affiliated nonprofit and are governed by that organization’s own policies and consent processes.)

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-party links

The Site may link to other websites and stores we don’t control. This policy does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here on this page.
